These terms govern the use of the dentalsoft.al website and the DentalSoft software. By using the website or the software, you accept these terms.
1. Acceptance of the terms
The terms apply to every visitor of the website and to every clinic or user of the DentalSoft software. If you use the software on behalf of a clinic, you confirm that you are entitled to represent it. The agreement or offer signed with the clinic takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
2. The service
DentalSoft is cloud software for managing dental clinics: patients, appointments, dental charts, documents, finances, suppliers and reports. The software is accessed through the browser and the iOS and Android apps. Besides the software, we also offer services such as websites, hosting and digital marketing, according to the relevant offer.
3. Account and free trial
- The data you give us when you request a demo or create an account must be accurate.
- You are responsible for keeping passwords safe and for the actions performed with the clinic’s account and sub-accounts (administrator, reception, dentists).
- Notify us immediately if you suspect someone has accessed the account without permission.
- The free trial lasts 3 days and is provided to test the software. We may end the trial if it is used for other purposes.
4. Subscription and payments
The price and plan are set out in the offer the clinic receives. There are no extra or hidden fees and no long-term contracts: the subscription can be ended at the end of the paid period. In case of late payment, after prior notice, access to the software may be restricted until the amount due is paid.
5. Clinic data
- The data a clinic records in the software belongs to the clinic. DentalSoft processes it only to provide the service, according to the Privacy Policy and the agreement with the clinic.
- The clinic is responsible for having a legal basis for the patient data it records, including patients’ consent to SMS and email reminders.
- The clinic can export its data at any time in Excel or XML format. After the subscription ends, data is kept and deleted according to the period set out in the agreement.
6. Permitted use
It is not allowed to:
- use the software for illegal purposes or in breach of personal data protection law;
- attempt to bypass security, access other accounts or upload viruses;
- copy, sell or reverse-engineer the software;
- send unsolicited messages (spam) through the SMS and email module.
7. Availability and backups
We make every effort to keep the software continuously available and create automatic backups every day. From time to time there may be short interruptions for maintenance or updates, which we try to carry out outside working hours. We cannot guarantee that the service will always be free of interruptions or errors.
8. Intellectual property
The DentalSoft software, the logo, the design and the content of this website are the property of DentalSoft. The subscription gives you the right to use the software during the subscription period, not ownership of it.
9. Limitation of liability
DentalSoft is a management tool and does not replace the dentist’s professional decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profit, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the clinic for the service in the last 12 months.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. For important changes we notify clients by email before they take effect. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. We first try to resolve disputes amicably. If that is not possible, they are heard by the competent courts in Tirana.
